Self-consumption-optimized PV system for industrial companies

In recent years, we have completed more than 2500 projects for customers from trade, industry and logistics worldwide — from analysis and planning to installation and operation. Our complete solutions cover the entire spectrum of commercial PV systems: from small systems with an output of 100 kWp to large projects with an output of 8 MWp for roof systems and open-space systems in the multi-megwatt range.

Challenge

Industrial companies are faced with the challenge of making their energy-intensive production processes more sustainable. And to reduce operating costs at the same time. Increasing energy demand, the volatility of electricity prices and international environmental regulations make it necessary to switch to renewable energy sources. In this way, our industrial customer in San Bonifacio also saves costs in the long term with a commercial PV system and ensures a stable, compliant energy supply.

Solution

For a production plant that manufactures heat exchangers, we have installed a commercial PV system in San Bonifacio. This project presented us with the task of making energy-intensive production sustainable during operation. Not a problem for us. With a capacity of 870 kWp and around 2600 modules installed, we have developed a powerful solution and implemented it smoothly. The plant efficiently supplies the production plant with renewable energy, reduces operating costs and reduces the ecological footprint. As a result, EU-wide environmental regulations for industrial companies are also met.

Centroplan offers green energy solutions from a single source and, with this project, is once again showing how they can be seamlessly integrated into business processes and the infrastructure of companies. With over 150 employees and ten international locations, we specialize in large-scale solar roofs and can quickly move from planning to implementation, not only in Italy.

“With our systems, you produce your own electricity at the site starting at 6 ct/kWh,” explains Niklas Reinartz, CEO Centroplan. We help our industrial customers make their location more sustainable and cost-effective with our photovoltaic solutions. And they're just a consultation away!

With this project, we have shown how sustainability and energy efficiency can go hand in hand. Even during operation. Our solution not only provides the production plant in San Bonifacio with sustainable energy from its own roof, but also significant savings in energy costs.

Sustainability

The production plant in San Bonifacio easily meets sustainability goals through renewable energy and is significantly more energy efficient. Because with a commercial PV system, your CO2 emissions will fall quickly.

Independence

Installed seamlessly during operation, the roof system is already supplying the site with energy and reducing operating costs. When switching to solar energy, you can even benefit from subsidies.

Independence

Our energy solution supplies energy-intensive production with 870 kWp of solar energy. A PV system therefore makes you independent of rising electricity prices and ensures your sustainable energy supply.

Compliance

In addition to economic efficiency, it is becoming increasingly necessary to achieve sustainability goals. Our commercial PV system reduces the environmental footprint of production in accordance with current environmental regulations.
