Solar system for commercial use: Cost savings & customer comfort
In recent years, we have completed more than 2500 projects for customers from trade, industry and logistics worldwide — from analysis and planning to installation and operation. Our complete solutions cover the entire spectrum of commercial PV systems: from small systems with an output of 100 kWp to large projects with an output of 8 MWp for roof systems and open-space systems in the multi-megwatt range.
Challenge
With our expertise in branch business, we implement up to 600 commercial solar systems worldwide every year. In 2024, we completed one of them in Villafranca, Italy — in just 59 working days. As is so often the case, we have gone far beyond just a PV roof system: with holistic management that covers all aspects of project development and always keeps an eye on costs.
Solution
In Villafranca, we have equipped the roof of the discount store with an innovative PV system without additional ballast. We have also installed PV carports and a modern charging infrastructure for electric cars in the parking lot. A total of 1,680 modules were installed on an area of 2,672 square meters. Our local team in Italy ensured that the project was implemented smoothly and on schedule.

With this project, we have shown how increasing efficiency, sustainability and comfort can go hand in hand. Our solution not only provides the retail branch in Villafranca with sustainable energy from the roof and carports, but also convenience for branch users through the shadow under the carports.
